Video Clips from the DVD 'Tangents, a mindscape in a landscape'

Cecile Elstein's 'Together with Tangents', seen at the National Trust Wimpole Hall Sculpture Exhibition during the summer of 1997, was a temporary rope and metal site-specific construction (10 x 12 x 5.30 metres) inspired by adaptation towards growth and change. The artist focused on values of open relationship with the environment and with others. "What I really want to know is how you thought this up"
The videos 'Present' and 'Tangents, a mindscape or a load of rope?' were co-produced by Cecile Elstein and Maureen Kendal in response to the many questions asked by some of 200,000 visitors about 'Together with Tangents'
